Spyderco K390 and maxamet Hardness (The question without naming the retailers)

I was taking a eye to the k390 spydercos and took a notice that the endura model says 60hrc "In some retailers" . So i was wondering if this is a mistake or if the hardness has changed? .... Do all the models have the same hardness? What's the intended k390 hardness?




Now for the maxamet model i also notice the para3 model it says 70hrc and the sage it says 68. Do the different production places have different hardness?
 
Spyderco doesn’t publish HRC numbers. Not sure where these retailers are getting their info from.
 
I think different models and steels have different harnesses. For the question at hand though, perhaps certain retailers commission their exclusives in a different hardness?
 
There is a 'HRC database' thread maintained by the forum members at spyderco.com and yes, there are variations, which is inevitable in batch processing.
