I recently purchased a Spyderco Kapara, been mega happy with the knife, I noticed a bit of cosmetic damage in the bottom of the pivot screw. It's not where the bit interfaces with the screw but now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it. I know that spider color has tons of models and several factories so I wouldn't be surprised if they do not stock or do not send out parts like that. I received it last week and I'm pretty smitten with it. I've actually even carried it instead of my sebenzas a couple of times, I've had many knives come and go but just couldn't push them out even for a couple days but this thing is special. I spoke with the retailer and they were more than happy to exchange it but I really don't want to be without the knife even for a week or so. I figured I would check so I can make a decision. Like I said, highly unlikely to be a problem ever but I figure if I can order some extra pivot screws to put in the box for whenever it finally needs dissembly and cleaning in a couple years I would love to do so. It's not something that's urgent necessarily and I suppose I could just send it off to them for disassembly down the road but I'm definitely the sort that plans for stuff like that. I'd be happy to pay for the screws and shipping from Taiwan even and it isn't some sort of rush, just would love to know I can replace them when I have it apart eventually.
Thanks in advance!
