Spyderco Kiwi 3 Stag

Nice review.

For being relatively new to knife reviews, I think you did a superb job.

Keep them coming.

Looks good, I've always liked the wharnie on the Kiwi. How's the 8cr13MoV holding up for daily stuff?

It's holding up great so far. I've mainly been using it for light stuff like opening boxes, but it's still hair-popping sharp after about a month

Nice review and +1 for the Stag Kiwi

If you can get over the fact that its made in China (some people can't... is that racist?) its a finely made knife for the price.

I'm racking my brain trying to think of a better deal or a better knife to get someone who might not be too into knives. Kershaw Chive isn't bad, but I'm not too big into assisteds or flippers, but the rainbow one is good for girls.

Plant those seeds boy, the more people that enjoy our hobby, the better it is for all of us. We might even see more things like what happened in New Hampshire were a pro-knife law was recently passed.

Speaking for myself, I prefer to buy US made goods when I can for economic/political reasons. It has nothing whatsoever to do with race. I think the folks here that say they prefer not to buy Chinese made goods feel the same, but you would have to ask them.

To the OP -- nice review. I have been on the fence on this one. I like the stag and the price. I don't like the slipjoint and the Chinese import.

I think it's a good deal for the money mine came pretty much perfect from the factory no blade play or gaps in the liners or handles yeah the china thing kind of turned me off but with a knife this good in this price bracket I think I can live with it just this time.
