Hi all,
Does anyone own the Spyderco Kiwi? I find it to be aesthetically pleasing to look at. A bit expensive for a small Spyderco. Does anyone know of a place that has GREAT prices? My wife will use it on me if I purchase another knife that is fairly expensive. Thus, a good cheap dealer is needed! LOL You suggestions are welcome.Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Prof. Ed

Something to keep in mind: it does not have a pocket clip, so it will be floating in your pocket.

Yes, I have one and I like it a lot. It’s very classy looking piece and it handles like at least 1,5 times bigger knife – firmly and securely.

Rumor has it from a thread posted on Spyderco's forum that the Kiwi will be released in less expensive form as an FRN model as well, soon.

Better yet, they have a proto completed on a larger version of the Kiwi, called the Kopa. No word on size, but the poster (Jurphass) says the handle was a combination of micarta and cocobolo. :D

The Kiwi has replaced all other knives that I carry on a daily basis at work. It is not only sheeple friendly but it handles all types of daily chores around the office that it is called upon to do. It is so well made and it is a very attractive knife in a world of black on black knives. About the only thing that it isn't good for is spreading peanut butter.
