Was at knife show today and bought couple Spydercos Military and Paramilitary, was so impressed by those 2 knives, the dealer had at least 10 different Emerson models, and I checked it out. There is no comparising.........for the price, Emerson knives are good, but for price , fit and finish Spyderco rules...plus some bs on Emerson forums ,etc its not professional and I cant stand it! Mr Glesser your a real professional!keep up the good work!

Depends on whats important to you in a folder. There are certain situations I would go with an Emerson over Spyderco. That said, I doubt I would ever own one.

I would agree. Spyderco makes a great knife and at a reasonable price point.

Spyderco Rules! :D. I had an Emerson. I was not impressed. Especially when the stop pin came with rust on it from the factory. I am sorry, but to me when Emerson say they dont worry about fit and finish as much because their knives are for using, it seems like a lame excuse to not have to worry about it so much. Spyderco is great, and is currently my favorite company for folding knives.

I don't like liner locks and have no desire to own any Emerson I have seen. The only thing Emerson I somewhat like is the wave, and that was just a lucky mistake.
