Hi.

I'm thinking about getting a Spyderco Ladybug Salt. The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't come with a pocket clip. I saw that dangler type pocket clip, but are there any other options?

That knife is way too small for a pocket clip. We're talking a knife that will occupy 2 maybe 2 1/2 fingers. My experience with small/tiny knives like that is that if you slap a clip on them, they are more likely to get lost because they weight next to nothing and you can't feel when it's clipped or not. Get yourself some paracord (less than 9¢ per foot) and make a little lanyard or fob.

I plan on swimming with it and I want to be able to clip it to my pocket. I don't worry about losing it, I've never lost a knife that was clipped to my belt or pocket...

If you want a swimming knife how about a delica salt? As rev said the ladybug is too small for a clip.i have one on my key chain,it is about the length and weight of a house key!

Well it's not going to be a dedicated "swimming" knife. I'm getting two Spydies in H-1 for EDC during the Summer. I always carry at least two knives and while I immediately picked the Tasman Salt to be my defensive knife, I had some trouble deciding which one to get for utility purposes. I'm sure a Dragonfly Salt would be a much better option, but my friend is willing to sell me the Ladybug for a great price.

A dangler clip is about all you can get. I can't remember what company it is, but somebody sells an in pocket lanyard clip that looks like a pen top made to be a loophole in concealed carry restricting states.
