Looking for a Spyderco large edc for under 55$ (on a budget) and be sure to include any of your own knives you would like to sell. Thanks.

Chicks dig the Resilience, thats true. But there are others. The Endura - for example - is reasonably described as large, and it comes in around your price point.

Endura.

I see the resilience as more of a tactical role. all my buddies are saying manix or endura. I just wanted to get some real knife guys opinions.

The Endura is a great choice, although I think it'll be just over your $55 budget, when it's all said and done with it in your hand.

The Delica is smaller, think "little Endura". Both are popular knives if you do a search I'm sure you'll find some comparison pictures.

Edited: Also I think it's doubtful you'll find any version of the "Manix" at your price point.

They are available for under $55 shipped on a large online auction site that sorta rhymes with flea spray. :) The Resilience is swell, and a folding sword no doubt, but I recommending starting first with the Endura.

Endura all day long. It's great, not made in China and made with a dependable quality steel.

Cool! I've been shopping in the wrong place then

I agree, the Endura is a better choice, especially at that price!

You will find yourself going to the Endura for slicing\peeling tasks, the Resilience is almost too big for that. But if you want large, the Resilience has a big blade indeed.

The Endura would be excellent for your intended purpose now the only choice to make is Saber ground or FFG.

Another vote for the Endura. I just picked up a purple FRN a couple of weeks ago - great knife, thin profile, and very lightweight for it's size.

I would vote spend 15 more dollars and get a Manix they are well worth it... I know not what the OP asked for.... DOH!

Hey! You arranged your knives. Nice. :D

Another vote for the Endura. The Resilience is a big blade and a great value for the money, but IMHO the Resilience is really too big of a blade for EDC and reminds me of a food prep knife more than anything else. That's not a slam. The Endura is slimmer, lighter, and just well designed for EDC but with tactical options (if that's a consideration). I like the FRN handles on the Endura. But if you have a strong preference for G-10 then maybe the Resilience is more to your liking.
