Just ordered! On the way. For me... I think for the price it has a lot more going on for it than an SnG. Am I crazy? I like a Strider here and there. The love of a Spyderco and marriage of an SR-1?! Come on!! ;) I hope the F&F are solid in this one.

As you can well imagine, Fit and Finish on a $300 + Spyder is garaunteed. ...:D (of course is garaunteed on a $59 Tenacious too)

I was extremely impressed by the LionSpy when I got mine. Fit and finish were as perfect as I'm capable of perceiving. It is a big knife that doesn't feel all that big in hand. Just be prepared for some callouses on the end of your thumb...it is a mother to unlock at first. I've had it a couple of months now and still love everything about it.

I've held the LionSteel, and it had a great F&F.
I'm sure the Spyderco Version will be the same.

Congrats, and hope you enjoy it !

I love the Lionspy although I don't carry it often. Just open and close it lol.
I look forward to the Lil Lionspy

I've carried my lionspy everyday for the past month. I love how deep the clip carries. Its a great slicer despite the thick blade stock. The convex edge gets scary sharp with a few passes on a strop. The lock takes a bit of force to disengage but I feel the cutout allows me to get plenty of my thumb on the lockbar so that it's not difficult to operate IMO. The Hungarian and Lionspy are currently my favorite knives.

I have one and just purchased an SNG . Will let you know how the 2 compare. I love the Lionspy and use it as my outdoor camping, hiking, hunting knife but I'm worried that the two will be too similar haha. Planning to carry the SNG on weekends around town.

I have two...I absolutely love it. Like Shephard, mine doesn't get carried that often but it is fantastic. I might get rid of the second one sometime soon, but only for a different spydie ha

Enjoy it! It has the best *thwack* when opening of any spydie I have (>30).
