I think Spyderco should make hard liquor commensurate with the steels they use.

Golden could bottle tequila to go with the S30V
Seki could bottle vodka in homage to VG-10
Taiwan could bottle triple sec

Open business in two more countries and we could make an all-Spyderco Long Island iced tea!

It would be awesome! I think that my Spydies are some of the best knives out there, but I can't drink them.

Anyone else like this pickled idea?

Lets see.... you can get drunk on some Spyderco liquor, then play with your razor sharp Spyderco knives... Ummm no.

Sharp knives + Liquor = Bad Idea.
Sounds like fun, ends up w/ someone going in for a Tetanus shot & some sutures.

Got my tetanus shot two years ago. I'm good for a few fifths until my next one.

By the way, sayers of nay,

Could it possibly occur to you that those who enjoy Spyderco's cutlery responsibly can also enjoy liquor responsibly? Just because General Electric makes espresso makers and helicopter engines doesn't mean you have to have a Flight of the Valkyries style ride with each cappucino you make.

I've heard (but don't know if it's true or not) that Coors makes Spyderco's ceramic sharpeners.

Maybe Spyderco could make beer! :)

What a colossal idea. I think that the sales would be stupendous...particularly if there were knife images figured on the labels. I really do.

It wouldn't supprize me.Ruger makes golf club heads.tom.:)

rugger, are you kidding? the combo is great. my roomie and i are contemplating setting up a microforge and a microstill at the same time.

my only question is-where's the bourbon?

The whisky would be the Endura, the wine would be the Persian and the Champagne would be the Ramco Laguiole.
But what about the Vodka? Well, if you think Bradichansky used to live (and leave) near Russia some time ago, than the credit goes to the Spydercard. ;)
