Spyderco logo Easter egg

Maybe this has been noticed before but I was holding a sharpmaker triangular sharpening stick today and looking at the end of it noticed it looks just like the little (for lack of better word) "beak" of the Spyderco spider found on the box. Is this a coincidence or is that little beak paying homeage to the sharpmaker?

It was put there because of the Sharpmaker stones.
