Welcome to the forum. That dealer has been, and is currently doing various Spyderco knives in that configuration (M4 steel, jade G10 handles). So be on the look out for the next "drop". Does anyone know what the price was on this one ?

Not a huge fan of the blade coating of the color scheme, but I bought one because I like the idea of a stout blade of tough steel in a small package. Will be very useful as a back-up blade and complement to a large knife for field use.

Yes! I definitely would have went for one of these over the Techno2. I'm just gonna have to pass on it though, because I would want to get my hands on the M4 Chief that much more.
