Will forced patina cover light scratches on the blade
I have a gayle bradley and was wondering if the patina look would cover these light marks on the blade

I don't know if it'll cover them, but it'll probably camouflage them. Google pictures of Spyderco Gayle Bradley patina and you will find some nice looking blades.

This is not M4, but depending on the pattern you give it you might make scratches less noticeable.

It might help hide it, It depends on the method and time (level of patina). But a user will get scratched.

Agreed. The scratches will be far less noticeable and with the proper pattern can virtually disappear from view.

Cool whats best for darker patina

do you want an even, dark patina? or a more natural looking patina? a lot of guys have success using vinegar. make sure you really clean of the blade first or any residual oils or contamination will make it apply unevenly.

my preferred method is two years of Edc carry and food prep for my m4 Millie:

here's a post from the traditional forum on how to get a nice, dark, even patina. granted it's on 1095 so you probably won't get it as dark and it will take you more time because m4 is a lot more stain resistant.
