Spyderco makes a Manbug Lightweight. These just caught my eye. Anybody have / use one? Comments? These are made in Japan as opposed to China, correct??

Thanks.

Correct, They are small but very capable knives. There is the standard model with FRN, PE or SE, then there is the one with bolsters and G10, then there is the Grn FRN with zdp 189 steel. They are little guys that can cut with the bigger guys. They are made in Seki City japan.

they are a great little knife. i had one until my 12 yr old decided she wanted it. lol

Thanks, was wondering if the lightweights were a little cheesier. Sounds like they're not.

What's an FRN, BTW??

Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon. Its the material the spyderco lightweights are made of. It looks and feels plastic-y but is really a very tough and durable handle material.
