Spyderco Manix 2 Black Lightweight?!?!?!!!

I must have been commatose...when did this come out, and how did it slip past me? Anybody have one? I'm assuming it's not all that different from the blue but what do you all think of it?

It's new for 2013. It's pretty cool.. I saw a picture floating around of a black Manix 2 LW with a black blade, and now THAT was a stone cold knockout. I don't think it was an official image though, so not sure if that's actually in the pipeline.

Otherwise, I'm content with my blue translucent... until a black-on-black hits the scene.

It didnt even realize they had it in black either. I just got my translucent blue and love it.

I like the black, but still prefer the blue because it stands out from a crowded field of black knives.

I've got both the blue and black. Both are great, but I like the black better. The FRCP feels slightly different on it.

I have the Blue. Not sure which I like better. Mine has the older pinned pivot construction which I'm happy with.

Got one! I had the blue one before but sold it because I had trouble getting it sharp. Now my sharpening skills have improved and I prefer the black.

I like the black much more than the blue because it isn't translucent.

I owned the blue one and absolutely loved it. So light to carry and the construction was good and solid even though it is pin construction. I do like how the new model has an adjustable pivot. I have always like the Manix 2 and look forward to picking up another one this year.
