Lightweight parts from the Spyderco Manix 2 are not cross compatible with parts from the G10 version of the Manix 2. At the least, their blades have different dimensions which alters lockup position of the ball cage.

I have experienced no issues on lockup for both the lightweight or the g10 version one that I performed the swap with.

Just saying they’ve been confirmed to have different dimensions and therefore aren’t equally compatible.

I just swapped that blades and it worked. I can see if you’re trying to swap the entire locking mechanism and associated support hardware it wouldn’t work.
