Spyderco Manix 2 Stone Wash????

Is it one of the first production manix 2's? Are they fine? Stay away from them?

My newer Manix 2 has a semi-stone wash. That's just the finish they use.

What Orion's Belt said is correct. That finish -- somewhere between a stonewashed finish and a satin finish -- is the standard one for the regular production Manix 2.

Unless you're an idiot who likes to loosen his knife's pivot and then smack its handle with a stick repeatedly, the original version of the Manix 2 should be fine.
