Spyderco Manix Mystery mark on blade tang

I have never seen this mark on any Spyderco that I have bought before. Anyone know what this is? It is a new one to me. It is not on my Chinook made in the same plant but on the Manix I just got in the mail this morning.

Anyone else ever seen this? Sal?

That's Eric Glesser's "logo" if you will.

Same logo or design thingy is on the Scorpius and I think the Dodo.

Oh man! I've found the love of my life. The holy grail of knives. I love this thing. I've listed my Chinook and several others that I had been carrying now and then and some new for sale after getting this one. I have found my EDC finally after looking and looking for a long time. This Manix is my new buddy. My new constant companion. I have not found a single thing to fault this knife.

I'm telling ya. I have several other large folders including a Sebenza and this Manix has won my heart. What a knife. To think I had to trade to get ahold of a Chinook first to make me curious enough to buy a Manix to see if it was just as nice. Until that Chinook I kind of just thought to myself it is just another big Spyderco. These are not just the average Spydie. They are perhaps the two toughest strongest folders on the market right now. I can't stop showing this thing off. I love it.
