Spyderco Manix

Thanks Razor,

Great service...time for a funny (at least I think so) story?

Wednesday, the knife arrived and my wife was home to get it. I came home from work and she was outside with the kids (2.5 year boy and 4 month girl). She had put the girl in the stroller and locked it near the top of the driveway.
Meanwhile my son ran around to the front of the house and she went to grab him. So my daughter is sitting in a stroller at the top of the driveway...

I thought it would be funny to unlock the wheel locks and roll her partially down the driveway and well into the lawn (as if she rolled on her own, of course). I did so and hid in the garage to see the reaction (I'm a child, I know). Let me tell you, WHAT A REACTION!!! She came around from the front, gasped at the new location of the baby and ran to her faster than I've seen her run ever...oooohhhhhh boy, I was in a full belly laugh....

Joke was on me though, because I did not know the blade arrived yet and guess who wasn't going to tell me.....in fact, after the baby prank, I asked if it had come and she lied and said no....

We went to a bookstore that evening and a read a Manix review in Tactical Knives magazine. She saw how excited I was and couldn't hide the knife any longer. She waited until we got back to tell me (that way I wouldn't rush out of the bookstore). She said her intention was to wait until my birthday (2 weeks) just to get me back... :D Thank goodness she didn't do that! I would have deserved it though...

Now, either you're married and this is partially funny or your not married and thinking how pathetic life becomes when people get married.... :)

Either way, thanks for the blade!!

Well, I'm married. I'd say it's funny but you're lucky she didn't skin you with it.
