What are your thoughts on the skeletonized knife liners liners vs. the earlier version with the full size liners?

And how can we get Sal to bring back the clear lock buttons and Orange and Green G10?

I've only had the skeletonized and the Manix XL is my favorite folder, along with the PM2. I have the G10/s30v and CF/S90V XL's and they're great but I agree, I'd like to see the clear lock studs again. Actually an oversized ceramic uncaged bearing would be best!
 
Well, I going against the grain, here. I prefer the black studs. However, I am open to different colors and options. Perhaps Spyderco should market replacement studs for the Manix line. That way we can choose the color option we like.

I looked at a Manix 2 XL the other day. I really liked it. It will most likely be my next purchase. It fit my hand really well and the skeletonized liners keep the weight down while still being strong.
 
I'm pretty sure the clear polymer cages were disco' because of breakage problems. I have one on my s30v HHG M2..
 
My Manix is S30V without the skeletonized liners. I like the heft. I added another set-off as has been documented on this forum; that seems to be the common complaint about design. As far as the thumb stud, I'd like to see metal, perhaps machined aluminum.
