Spyderco MAP & preorders

Back in 2017 I preordered a Spyderco A.T.R As I (not very) patiently wait I wonder if the 2017 price will be honored, or will I be charged 2018 pricing? It’s roughly $20 more now...

If preordered through a distributor, you could email/call them and ask. This might be something that depends on who you preordered it from. I would say probably not, but that's speculation. It would seem pretty shady if a company clearly listed the old prices for preorder and then changed them once the product is ready to ship.

Often times, dealers that offer preorders will state that the price is an estimate, and subject to change.

That being said, the knives that I usually preorder are Traditional folders, and I do not know if this will vary by different vendors.
