Spyderco meets emerson and this is the result...

Well, today I had the urge and went and waved a spyderco salsa.

I chose it because it had the compression lock, otherwise I wanted the Lum tanto, but that has a liner lock and I felt like a smaller knife as well.

Sorry guys, the scanner is not working, otherwise their would be a picture attached.

Dremmling aus-8 on this knife was a hell of a lot easier than double the thickness in 440v on the native which I waved a while ago.

so, who is killing spydercos other than me? :)
 
maybe when i have some real practice messing with blade stock, i'll feel more confident about it, but the only dremelling i do to my spydies is round out sharp thumbholes.
 
I think its my ratty pants, but it gets caught in the areas were the wave already tore holes in.

It works better with newer pants.
 
I'd think it's easier to shape a metal part that makes waving a salsa possible and use it to replace the cobra hood than drilling the blade stock.
