Spyderco military CF

(sorry to put it into two threads, but otherwise I'll be moved to Galery again.)

It is standard Military as I understand exept Carbon Fiber scales. As a result it weights only 3.92 oz (111.4 g). Scales are not rough, but not slick - just enough of everything and looks very nice.

Mine is 027V 027 is number in 400 knives limited edition. But what does mean "V"? May be Vassili?

Congrats on the new purchase (mine's on the way). The 027 is the Spyderco Collector's Club number and the "V" indicates that it is a variant (i.e. not the standard Military)

Is it somehow different from Calypso Jr ZDP 189 - there is no any numbers on Caly.

If it was tip up, I'd be all over that puppy. Beautiful knive! I really like the triangular clip anchor, even if it is on the wrong side I'd love to get a Delica with scales and a clip like that, but with a lockback. That would be nice :thumbup:

If there are no numbers on the Calypso Jr. then it was not originally sold to a Collectors Club member. If it had been sold as a Collectors Club piece it would have been engraved with the CC member's number. I think it would also have had the "V" suffix since it would have been a variant (because it was a sprint run with a different FRN color and blade steel).
