I have about 15 different Spydercos, but after all these years never had a chance to try the Military model.Watched many reviews on blade forums and youtube, and couldn't believe how light the knife was when my buddy brought it over and we tested it a little.Quality of knife and attention to detail is excellent, feels good in hand and is not heavy to edc carry. Will be getting this one for sure in d2 or s30v (my dealer just had camo version), excellent job Spyderco.I was not a fan of s30v before based on some reports on chipping either but when started using my Para2 for different tasks this steel actually performed much better for me than vg10,a2,14c28 and some other fine grained steels.!Pictures do not do justice to this knife. It looks much better in person!

Hey thanks Captain Obvious!
Just kidding, it certainly is although I still prefer the para military 2.

The D2 version was a sprint a few years ago and isn't too easy to find now. I love mine, it is one of my favorite Millies:

If you can find one in Carbon fiber they are even lighter and stiffer..

Best 4" folder design ever imho:thumbup:

The Military model was especially good in Spyderedge. I also like the Sprint Runs in the exotic blade steels>> I've got the CTS-XHP version and it's great. I just wish they would do a Spyderedged version with that steel.

The Military is just so versatile and makes a great companion folder for any fixed blade hunting knife. There is a reason the Military has been with us since the mid 90s. Also I would love to see a Military with another one of the Carpenter steels and carbon fiber or Micarta handle.
