Can anybody tell me whether my Spyderco Military has correct stop position of the liner lock relating to opened blade or not? Here is the picture of my knife:

Meanwhile here the guy says it should be centered to the blade while open on the same knife.

Looks like an early lockup. Not exactly a bad thing really, it should wear down to a center lockup over time.

looks just like mine man. It will wear in(move toward the right)with time so an early lockup is a good thing in my opinion.

as long as the lockup is solid for your uses, dont worry about it

The lock up is solid indeed with absolute blade fix in the open position. I was just wondering whether there are any factory standards for that locking point. Every knife is individual I guess.

in my experience, liner locks end up all over the place. i have a few spyderco lum chinese folders. the older ones usually came with about 40% lockup, which is just fine. the only one i worry about is the newest one i got, titanium. that one is about 10%, but its still solid. so, yeah, these things will generally vary from knife to knife

Some questions to ask yourself.

Does it lock up tight?

Is the lock up position consistent?

Any play?

Has it slipped in use at all?

Does it pass a spine tap? (not a forceful strike but enough to check for lock slippage)

Has it given you any reason not to trust it?

From what I see it looks normal and would not worry unless problems develop.

FYI, the millie has the best liner lock you will find on a production knife and that is a well known fact.

I'd also say an early lockup(not less than 10 percent) will be ideal since you have a larger allowance for wear than an already 50 percent lockup.

OT but a story: I showed a friend my new orange millie once, and what did the mofo do? He tried to disengage the lock by pushing it the wrong way with a lot of force. I quickly got my knife back and only later did I notice that the lockup had moved from about 20 percent to about 50 percent. If I had noticed it at the time, there wudda been blood and teeth on the floor right then.

That looks fine to me. My early model Military lock up in about the same position and I'me very happy with that. Means that the lock hasn't worn much over the years.

Yes this knife has not been used much. It is a 2010 model (I bought it in February 2010) and it spends much of the time in the box. I take it only if I need some cutting jobs done in the garage, outdoor, camping etc. I always clean it carefully after each use with microfibre cloth. In general I always try to maintain my knives in good condition.

Your knife is just better than the guy's from the video. It will take some wear before it get to the state he talks about.

On that note, has anyone actually worn out a Military's lock? It's been around 15 years now (since 1996 I think), so if it is something to worry about, surely someone has worn one out. I searched and couldn't find a report of one.

I have never (prior to this thread) heard that the tab should reside at 50%.

I see nothing in your photo that would concern me.
