Spyderco Military...May I gush?? ..a video

Good review Archie ...I was thinking about getting a couple to give away as gifts this holiday season and that helped a lot!

lol at the worn out pocket on your pants where you clip your EDC, my jeans are the same way.

You would love the Para-military, it's everything the military is but 2/3 the size and with a compression lock, I have both and I find that the Para gets more pocket time

Two things stay the same in this hobby (for me at least).
I keep buying knives and I keep carrying the Spyderco Military.

Very good review; I have the BG-42 version - I really like it! The only place I kinda disagree with you is the clip; the three screws clip , placed in a triangle, is more robust in my opinion than the one screw construction or the three screws "in-line". On the other hand, a bigger portion of the knife sticks out of your pocket. Good job; keep them coming!

Good stuff bro.

I think you'd like the Paramilitary but I think you'd want more detent on the blade when closed.

Thanks for sharing. :)

I love the design and I love the steel for this one. I just dont know if I can EDC this thing. I mean I have a ZT301 which is ok for EDC but just a bit large and this knif is bigger right?

sounds like a great knife. i will buy one whenever spyderco makes a left-handed version (so i guess i will never get one :( )

but, nice vid! i like your no bs kind of approach

not at all... it weighs HALF as much... the handle may be a *tad* longer, but the overall package is not even noticeable in comparison... of course my handling of the 300 ZT series is limited to checking it out at a gun show, a little chuckle, and moving on. ... even not considering the weight, the Mil is far less bulky. There are no gimmicks in the Mil. Sal designed it to be all business.. in doing so, he produced an incredible knife.
