I snagged my pocket clip today, it got yanked pretty good. No play or loosening. Still solid in its place. So far so good

how did you do yours? On mine I drilled and tapped a small metal plate which I inset into the inner side of the G10 scale, it was a bunch of work!

Thats how it should be done. I took the easy way. Drill holes slightly smaller than the screws, dipped the screws in gorilla glue and screwed them in. The glue is the stuff in a small bottle the expands. The threads did bite into the g10.

Aren't there like little metal tubes with female threads in them you can set into the g10?

That metal plate thing though, that's badass!

Is the liner skeletonized there, and that is the issue?

the liners only go about 2/3 down, but even if they were long enough tapping titanium can be difficult with regular taps, or so I hear. Since Spyderco doesn't use the little threaded tubes on the Military I didn't have them handy, although maybe some from another brand might work? I did use those when I rehandled a griptilian which was definitely easier than the Millie. OP's approach seems to work though!

Here's a pic - I shortened and reshaped the handle, so had to shorten the blade but not by much. Added a Boker clip because it matched color and was also pretty much the most comfortable in hand. Never got around to prettying it up - great user now!

Although I must admit that when I showed it to Sal he seemed underwhelmed by my desecration of his design

Is that a pocket clip from a left handed Military?
Thats the standard factory right hand clip. Because of the curve in the clip, i had to make the knife left side carry. It looked weird on the other side, the clip curved opposite the curve of the handle.
What I really needed was a factory left hand clip to do the conversion

The military is great being so large but sometimes I wonder why the handle is so large. It could be 1/4 inch shorter and not affect blade length.
Good mods you made to the knife.

If it is set up for left hand carry and has a zip tie wave, but you want to carry and draw it on the right side. You can do it, simply reverse wave the knife. With the knife set up like that it will wave into reverse grip perfectly. Just like a waved karambit or the Pikal are usually waved.

Yep. I figured that one out. Ive been carrying it on my left side at work anyway along with my roadhouse on my right. It is cool to right hand carry once in a while and wave it into reverse grip.

On my large lanyard tube KW Sprint CTS204P Millie I went this route, the OM-Hack. A CRK pocket clip, a 1/2 6-32 thread button cap screw, and a brad-type Tee Nut in 6-32. Chucked the Tee Nut into a drill and turned the collar down on a junk coarse stone backyard style until it looked reasonably decent. Pics in test mule stage, the parts, and the finished product. I did snag it pretty hard once and the clip rotated some, but was easily twisted back in place. I think I would have damaged the clip if it had been on the CRK it came off of, so I'm more than happy with the results.

Officer's Match Officer's Match very nice. I was thinking about doing something like that too but I didnt have a pocket clip that would've fit like you have. I did want something removable but this was the best I could do with what I had. Good idea using that hardware.

Chris Reeve sells the pocket clips on the website IIRC.

Stopped looking after mine went together and worked so well. I think it could be done with a small 6-32 thread standoff, a truss head screw for the backside and a similar button head screw as is on the clip side of mine. Both screws would have to be pretty short - a quarter inch or so. Another off the shelf item I was looking at prior to modding my Tee Nut was a rivet nut, such as this:
