Here are two of the same knives with different pivot screws and different color pocket clips. Is one of them an older model or does Spyderco still make both of them?

Different generations of the Millie. Note the different sized lanyard hole, and different stop pin as well. Spyderco calls it "CQI" - Constant Quality Improvement.

Love my Military in S110V with the blurple handle. Holds an edge a lo-o-o-ong time, but it takes a bit of time and effort to get one. DMT Extra Coarse 220 grit followed by DMT extra fine 1200 grit imparts a very aggressive edge.

I have an S90V Millie and a CPM M-4 Millie.

Need to get a CPM S110V!:)
Ah, I have a secondhand older model (same as first pic in OP but with black blade) in digicam and S30V, I'll be buying one in S110V in the next week or so, myself! I've missed out on various sprint runs and have begun to regret it lately... If Spyderco decides to put out an S45VN with the neat textured green handles they've done with the PM2 and 3 models, I don't think I could say no.

I'm wondering if it's as brutal to resharpen as my ZT 0560CBCF was, although at the time I was only using ceramic...

When I bought my first S90V blade, I was told be the forum experts on two different forums that S90V could not be sharpened by the user. That even most professional sharpening services wouldn't attempt it.

I put the medium Atoma on my Edge Pro, worked up a burr, removed it and switched to the ultra fine Atoma.

A little time and energy and I had a face shaving sharp blade.

I was told that no one could sharpen Rex121 without powered machinery. But I did it with my Edge Pro and the same diamond plates. A lot more time and effort, but not really that hard to do.

Never let anyone tell you what you can't do. Just do it!:thumbsup:
