Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone had a complete list of the military sprints that have come out, and maybe how many were in each run? I found a couple at a local dealer and am trying to decide if I should pull the trigger and get one. I love the millie i have now, and want to try it in a different steel. The two I saw are the S90V version and the CTS-XHP. Which would be better (more noob sharpening friendly)? I see alot of the m390 versions for sale here, but not so much of the other ones. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Tough call. M390 is an awesome performer and will be relatively more affordable. S90V is hard not to think of as the King of Millies. Then there's the M4 framelock hybrid. Plus half a dozen others...who couldn't love BG-42? :D

Actually, at this dealer the S90V is cheaper than the m390s I've seen here on the forums! I was under the impression s90v was harder to sharpen, so I'm kinda wary of it...

Harder, yes...hard, no, I don't think so - not if you have decent sharpening tools and skills.

Use it until it gets dull, then you can send it to me for proper disposal. :D

In my experience, S90v just takes more time to sharpen - you use the same technique and materials, but it is so wear resistant that it just sheds steel slower. So instead of taking 15 min to sharpen, it may take you 30-45 minutes (depending on how finely you finish it).

Harder? No. Longer? Definitely.
