Hi STR

I know you have done it in the past can you still do a tip up clip for a Millie? Obviuosly I would have to send the knife to you and wondering if you can tell me the cost . I would want something with a back plate for the clipscrews to mount to . Dont know if thats how you do them or not? I have seen a cpl threads mentioning the problems with the Millie as a tip up folder.

Thanx for your time and I apologize of this is the wrong forum to ask these questions .

Actually no I quit doing all modification work in 2012. Most all the other jobs were dropped in 2010 but as of 2012 I started doing the factory clip already threaded hole thing. I've just broken too many taps off over the years and honestly don't miss it either so I'd pass. What I did in response to that was post this but it is for others to use not really for me as I'm just too busy with clips and prybars. Prybars used to take a back seat to my clips but after nutnfancy and SandyHook in particular they took off for me and are now neck and neck with the clips for requests. Quite honestly some days I can barely keep up but thanks for asking. I really hate telling people no and it is always uncomfortable for me but I don't want to start into that line of work again. Again though thanks.

Hey no problem thanx for taking the time to respond .

I will go ahead and order and standard clip for the millie this weekend

Only bummer is no bead blasting

is the hand rub a polish look? If you leave it au natural is it a dull finish ?

Than again

I'm workin' on the blasting issue I may not have it this weekend but I will be up next week if I have my way . :-)
