Greetings fellow Spyderco fans

I am trying to assemble a very unique collection........

Spyderco Militaries with plain (non serrated) satin blades. Please don't ask me why I just have a thing for them.:o

Can anyone point me to a listing or website which lists all the variants of the Military? I would like to see what i am missing.

Thanks
Steven

The Spyderco site has a listing of some of the older discontinued models too I think. I did the same thing, still looking for a couple to complete the collection.
What do you have so far? Here are mine:

Thank you very much that was most helpful:thumbup::) And that is some collection you have there.......!

It would be quicker to tell you what I don't have............

I believe I am short of:

ATS-34
CPM-440V (3 variants of that)
S30V CF

I have a feeling that these are going to be hard to find. I am only collecting mint NIB knives so these last 5 will be a challenge.
But thanks to you I now know what I am missing!

good luck to you with your collection

Thanks!

Glad to help ;)
I am missing the S90V CF, S30V CF, M4, Ti Fluted, and the Forum knife with teh Paladium Spyder. :)
If you get a lead on any of these or are repulsed in some way by the ones you have that I don't, let me know ASAP ;)
Cheers!

That's right. I was thinking of the Centofante knives.

Hi,
I am interested in all variants of the Satin, non serrated Military.
According to the SpydieWiki I am missing 5 variants. Are there any others that you know of that are not listed in the SpydieWiki list? If so please tell me.

I fear the last 5 will be a slog and very expensive. But I would like to complete the collection.

Military? I has one!

You iz a big SHOW OFF!:D
Beautiful collection......You are where I want to be..............

I will build of the list

S30V Ti without insert
440V diamond engraved
440V "MILITARY" printed on blade
S30V "MILITARY" printed on blade

Also not 100% sure but I think both a 440V and S30V were made without any text on the blade.I am sure I will think of more.

Collecting the Military is a lot like collecting the Police. You may never know when the collection is complete. I've settled for one of each steel and a few major variants, but there have been many other subtle changes. 440V 2-screw, ATS-34 2-screw, 440V Forum knife, Orange G-10, uncoated Digicam, lefty and fluted Ti are all missing from my herd, and I have no idea how many others if you include the jimping changes.

So it sounds like there were a lot of "unofficial" variations as things were changed on the production line and small upgrades/improvements were made.........
Hmmm......I think this may take awhile........:o
Thanks for the info.

By the way a little birdie whispered that I should wish you many happy returns today? Am I correct? If so........Happy Birthday!:)

@Alfaholic

I know that you will know this already but just incase,
seems as though you collect milis, you are on the list for the cf m390 dealer exclusive, right?

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Yes, constant quality improvement means there have been many unheralded changes. Here's my Police collection, and it is less than half of the variations I know about.

Heres one to keep an eye out for.
When they changed from 440v to S30V they made a very few CE Militaries that still had the excentric pivot.
I got one of the very first ones at Blade that year,I have yet to see another one.
