I sent my friend a PS Military a few days ago. Although this 'test' can't be put in the same category as Buzzbait's, I thought it was good in terms of how (I think) many of us use our knives.

I gave the Millie a good workout last night. Bought a 6 lb. free-range
chicken, cooked it on the Showtime Jr. twirly thing. Whilst it was
twirling I sliced up some ripe tomatoes. The blade went through them like
they weren't even there. Nice thin slices, too. When the bird was done I
carved it up with that awesome blade. It was like a scalpel! That
serrated part of the blade makes a lot of sense since it breezed through
bone joints like a laser through butter. What a fantastic tool. Even
with chicken grease all over my fingers the grip remained sure. Nice
scales and the grooved choils made it really comfortable in my hand. You
were right when you said this knife had my name all over it. It felt like
it was designed just for me. Do I dare make this beast my EDC??? I put
the U2 aside and am carrying the Millie now. Probably will alternate. It
just feels so good to have in my pocket. This is a truly significant
piece of hardware. It's perfect for me. Thank you! Really widens
people's eyes when I click it open.

Wow! It's a good thing I just ate, or that review would have made me hungry!

He's pretty good with a knife, too, that's obvious. If it was up to me, I'd carry the Millie AND the U2, so I'd have a tinyknife to pull out when the Millie would panic the locals :D

(I usually carry a tactical folder, a SAK or multitool, and a small necker. Ya can never be too well equipped :p )

The Military is one folder that I keep coming back to. I frequently use it in the kitchen, cutting up vegetables or trimming up meat. I dont' carry it at work, because it would surely freak out the natives, but outside of work it lives in my pocket. It actually spent a lot of time sitting in a drawer because I was having lock slippage issues, but since I've bought some torx bits, and was able to adjust all the handle screws, it's tight as a vault. I think the only way it could be even better is if it had dual liners, but then it wouldn't be as light as it is now. I think I'll eventually upgrade to the s30v, but for now, this one will serve me just fine.

Military is a great blade, I can testify to that.

Mine is always screaming from the drawer. It wants to be used! :D :)
