I've seen sterile Military's around. It does sound like you have the real thing. Can't say for sure without pictures though.

BTW, Welcome to Bladeforums! :)

Welcome to BF. I am very cynical about knives that are not with the original logo. I looked at the other items this guy was selling, generally low end material. I would be careful, and stick with the get what you pay for mentality. Do not let a great deal blind you. I do hope you did get a sterile one, but be very careful on Ebay. There are many sellers on their that are blatant trademark infringements, and copycat knock offs. I will never knowingly pay a company who steals from the original company. I do not knock ebay, I have bought many knives there, and got some great deals. Take what you have into a knife store that sells Spyderco, and get an opinion from them on it's authenticity. I almost forgot,,,,,, Read my sig line.... I copied that right off an ebay sale for a traditional slipjoint.:D Mint means (in coin lingo) that it is untouched by human hands. Knife mint, really should mean, never used , and stored properly, but on ebay it means, with some rubbing, you can make it look that way.....LOL That is why I say to be careful.
