Were the other blade steels and handle configurations limited runs? I'm mainly seeing the S30V version, is that the "everyday" Military?
 
the sprint runs were as follows, iirc:

bg42 w/ cf
s30v w/ cf
cpmd2 w/ fg g10
s90v w/ cf

and i think sprint runs are all 300 knives.

Yes you correct Sir. I unfortunately missed out on these sprint runs. I did however manage to score a BG42/CF and a CPM-D2/FG in one fell swoop, it was absolute pure luck on my part. They should be arriving within 7-8 days. I still need the:
S90V/CF
S30V/CF
S30V/Ti
440V-PE/G10
;)
 
The first "sprint run" was peel-ply carbon fiber and S30V - 400 pcs.
Then BG-42/CF - 1500 pcs.
CPM D-2/FG G-10 - 1200 pcs
S90V/CF - 1200 pcs.
CPM M4/G-10/TiRIL - 500 pcs (KW exclusive)
 
Bah, I don't know if I should get the normal one or see if I can get one of those M4/G10/Ti ones still...

You're supposed to tell me what to get ;)

I guess I'll go with the plain one, a little easier to stomach $135 on an impulse buy because I'm bored.

Now I just need to decide if I really want it right now.

Oh, sorry...I would really get the orange handle G10 version. It's an awesome knife and it will be discontinued soon enough.:thumbup:
In all honesty, if you have even a small knife collection the Military is the Spyderco to have in it. If you need some encouragement, do a search for "Mili wheel" or was it "Milie wheel"? That is what got me sprung on collecting Military knives. So far, I'm up to 6...soon to be 8 :D

I'd buy either the orange S30V or for perhaps ~$200 you should be able to track down the CF/S90V, I think - that is an awesome knife, unless perhaps you are sharpening-challenged.

Maybe this is what you meant, but Spyderco came out with their list of items discontinued for 2011, and the orange Millie is on it. Now's the time to pick one up for sure!
 
Took a look at the orange one, I'm a fan of orange in general but not on knives for some reason...

I also want a Kershaw Speedform, decisions decisions.

Yes indeed. Get em' while you can. I've already got a 2nd orange one on the way via a trade.:thumbup:
