i got a spyderco lil' native (my bad, don't know how to change the title). the blade is 2.47", including the dull part for your finger to grip (i've seen some say 2.25", and maybe they mean only the sharp part but that's not how a blade is measure here in chicago). if you count the recessed steel, or measure the blade at and angle, you can get it past the 2.5" law. cpd do that?
also i keep it clipped to that weird pocket on your belt line. apparently there were desinged for pocket watches, but they work perfect for the mini maven. makes it so my shirt covers the clip. does that count as concealed. i just don't want everyone seeing i have a knife in my pocket by clipping it to one of my main side pockets like a lot of people do.
also because it's under 2.5" it doesn't federally count as a weapon right? because i sure don't remember to take it out of my pocket every time i stop by the post office or library. in fact i've used it inside the post office, but those girls don't care about anything.
thanks.
