no, not moron... moran(and I ain't french)...

I'm looking at buying the FB02, but I have one concern/question.

I was using a cheap tanto beater($20, 4"), but it almost hangs under the belt it rolls on the belt loops build into the sheath. I'm currently back to my CRKT BearClaw that I mirror finished to remove the rust trap.

How does the clip(system)/sheath ride on the belt? I know I can't get as tight a ride as my CRKT, but I don't want it to just hang there. I'm quiet possibly placing my order next week(have $60 set aside, need just over $100 plus taxes(damn gov't))... it all depends on the ride.

If anything I can live with a slightly loose ride till I toss together another 40 or so, and ship it off to Normark and have him rig something up, possibly like the BearClaw then...

Your help is appreciated. I have only handled one a LONG time ago(3yrs, 15 Spyderco knives purchased since, never again with the moran, now I want one)...

Thank you.

The Spyderco Moran comes with a TEK-LOK attachment which holds the sheath snuggly to your belt (it even adjustable for belt width). You can set the TEK-LOK up so that the knife is vertical or horizontal or for right or left hand draw - or you can take it off for use as a neck knife.
The Moran sheath is about the best factory kydex/concealex that I know of.

But, using the CRKT BearClaw as an example(lashed under the belt) for tightness, how does it hug the body during carry?
