This may have been covered already, So I don't read every post, sue me.:D Today my mail came
early, I did not know how happy I would be with the results. My new Spyderco Moran Drop point hunter came in the mail & this thing is awesome! The handle fits great & provides just
the right amount of cushion. I am very impressed with the over all feel & look. Scary sharp!!

I automatically started to look for others. If you don't have 1, I suggest trying the Passaround
or just purchasing 1. This knife is a great buy for the cost. MSRP is 119.95 & I got this for less than 1/2 of
that. Nothing new here just another new knife rant. The sheath is quality too!!
I still don't know how to upload pics here on BF, any tips will help. Just google it if you aren't
familar with the design.

The Bill Moran features a 3 15/16" flat ground VG10 black drop point blade, a FRN handle with
Krayton inserts and a lined lanyard hole and a G clip equipped Bolteron sheath.

So to sum this up, Thank You Spyderco!!
Go buy a moran Spydy, you will love it.
& you can thank me later,
Brad

those are japan made so blue super is more likely.

and this would be very very awesome btw :D

The Moran is an awesome little fixed blade and very much so a sleeper in spyderco's line up the sheath is excellent too.

I'd love a Moran Sprint with orange scales in Bohler-Uddeholm K390. Even M390 or S390 and I'd buy it!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

A Moran Sprint Run would be delightful. How about making it with something really exotic like CPM 3V? Or maybe it's time to have a fixed blae with ZDP-189?

The more I use Spyderco's fixed blades I find it hard to go back to some of my old ones I used for years. My 2 user Temperance 1 models are truly becoming close friends of mine.

Or maybe, just maybe it's time for a fixed blade outdoor folder in H-1 with a yellow handle maybe?

ZDP-189 would be my first pick because for the past 3 years I've wanted a fixed blade made with that great steel

I love when excitement overpowers proof reading. Glad to see you one the forums JD! Hope you are well.

I love the Super blue or K390 ideas.

Yeah I'll have my CROW medium rare thank you :D >> and I deserve to have to eat it too. But I do think everyone gets the jest of it. Think about it for a minute. Take something like the Moran fixed blade and jazz it up in some unconventional way. I would love the Moran with a nuclear yellow G-10 handle, H-1 or CPM 3V blade steel. Also if they did the Moran in a Salt Series edition it would be cool if they would do another fixed outdoor blade like the time tested Moran model in Spyderedge too.

Hey it's good to be back on the Spyder Forums on a full time basis. The past 14 months were a time in my life I would love to forget. But Bladeforums and Spyderco.com Forums both have some great guys and gals and I love being back in the pack again. Spyderco truly has progressed greatly in the fixed blade arena in the past 3 years especially. And it's also great to see all the new members on both forums. Quality made items seem to draw quality people as well. And Thank you for a great "welcome back" Chapman :)
