What angle are people going for? I was going for a 30 degree angle. What stones are people finishing the edge with? I have the edgepro 4 .I finished with 3000 tapes. Any advice is welcome. I had good results on s30v and zdp-189. I have the bevel set but need to put more time into it, its sharp but not that sharp, and looks good thru my 10x loupe which is a very handy tool. It was shaving sharp but now is just sharp wondering if I still have a very small bur. My s30v and zdp-189 are very sharp and hold an edge well, touch ups take 5 minutes with sharp maker fine and extra fine rods, and back to shaving sharp, very pleased with them.
 
I've re-beveled at 15* Per Side. Still working on the polish, but at 1200 grit diamond, it's shaving sharp.

I'll eventually take it to .1 micron polish.
 
I thought I was close to finishing my edge, but I've never been so far . Looked good but I'm going to start over the s110v is a lot tougher than I thought.
