i am going to order some more spyderco's and was wanting an opinion or three on the matter. i am rolling around the idea of the native but didn't know if they all came w/ the wire clip like the native 2. Can someone clear that up for me? other than that im going to get the military, police and 2 enduras.

The Native (with CPMS30V steel) has a "regular" clip.

The Native III (with VG-10 steel) has a wire clip.

lets see... basic list of spydies? all of em!

seriously?

harpy
police
endura
military
native(I is frn, II is ss, III is 3d with wire clip)
calypso (chose 1 from the series... sr in micarta, jr in micarta/ black frn/grey frn)
dragonfly
cricket
and at least one of the rescue line.

You would love the S30V Native with the standard clip.I would have a carry a Native 3 if it had a standard clip.

I have the delica and my only complaint w/ it is that it's a hair to small. The endura is not so expensive, and i love the blade. I will probably carry one or rotate it w/ the other spydies and keep the other clipped onto my backpack or vest. I like to have 2 of all the knives i really like ( the resonable priced ones that is ) just in case i loose one or dull one out to much and dont have time to sharpen it i have another ready to rotate in. I am trying to build up my overall collection though and that is why i want to buy more spydies cause i have really gotten the hots for them as of late.

Keep an eye on eBay and snag a Spydie Wegner too. IMHO they belong near the top of every Spydie collector's list.

Why two knives? One accessible to either side, for starters. One to use, one to keep, also. Redundancy is a good thing. One straight, one serrated, as I have with the 2 blue Delicas I carry.
Must have? Take another look at the Fred Perrin.
