Spyderco n00b Question about Delica 4...

Sorry for the n00b question. I am just getting into spyderco's as my EDC and WOW, I love them! After reading through this forum and the spyderco.com forums, I am totally hooked. With that being said...

I see alot owners with multiple variations in color of the Spyderco Delica (i.e. neon green, pink, purple, etc.).

Are these scales available for purchase elsewhere or are they just limited edition colors from spyderco? I am specifically looking for colors for the Delica 4.

Depends on the one you are looking at. Some are sprint runs, some are people dying the white delica to match their tastes. You cant buy Spyderco scales aftermarket.
 
You'll need to snatch up the Sprint and limited runs when you see them. They are
getting pretty tough to come by. Keep an eye on the exchange and maybe eBay too.
 
You should still be able to find a white handled and a foliage green handled Delicas.
 
Also, sometime in 2010, hopefully early on, Spyderco will release the new FFG Delica in 5 new colors that they haven't used yet, so that should help you out.
