Hey friends, I just posted an excerpt from my blog post (where I can freely write my long form content) comparing a legit Spyderco Native Chief to a counterfeit knife that is carefully marketed so to not call itself a Spyderco Native Chief, but in fact it is a blatant ripoff of that knife. The blade markings include the name Spyderco as well as the company logo, and these scammers even copied the original packaging!

I go into detail on how to identify counterfeit knifes from the authentic Spyderco models so folks don't get ripped off. I thought you might be interested. So I don't duplicate the post twice here in BladeForums, I'll link to my 1st forum post at https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/spyderco-native-chief-anatomy-of-a-counterfeit-knife.1992626/. I hope it's worth your time! Thanks!

Well, that was short-lived. I appear to have run afoul of the law here and my original post (as linked to above) was removed. It was removed because I linked directly to the new, full-length post on my eponymous website shown (the one in my signature, which was approved for me to have!). I only started that external site this past spring because I was not allowed to write my detailed, full-length original content reviews here! SMH

Nevertheless, the content is still available. It's very detailed and contains 25 photos comparing the genuine Spyderco knife with the counterfeit knockoff. You can still get to it, but you will have to look just a smidge harder for it (it's not hard to find!).
