I like the Native line, the wide blade and handle give you more heft and power than a knife this size has normaly. I like the thinner handle of the S30V Native but not too much the thin, slim blade tip and like the blade shape of the VG10 Native but not so much the thick handle. Enter G10 handle on a
VG10 blade.

Oh, I also like the S30V jimping but not the jimping (if you want to call it that)on the VG10. I tried to match the Caly jimping. Rounded and smoothed all edges.

Steel spacer. Weakened the spring a little, my Native was HARD to thumb.

Clean look!
Should I flat grind this one? No, it looks too good this way.

Wow, that's some great work.

And I thought the Native in G10 was only an impossible dream ;)

Most impressive!! Really a nice job!

Is the G10 stiff enough to go without liners in that incarnation and not flex?
How thick is the G10 that you used?

1/8" thick G10*. It is more than enough to hold in this case. In this case liners are just thickners of the handle (I wanted thin).
G10 will flex less than FRN and I have never had an FRN Spyderco fail.

I do go with liners on larger knives, though.

* = I did imbed .040" titanium plates: at the pivot (on one side, for a "key" to "lock" the P Pin). at the Clip to thread for screws.

Thanks for asking!
