I have two Native's, one with SS handles with AUS 10 Stainless, and Seki City Japan on the blade. It's 50/50 serated, and has 11 fine notch's on the back of the blade. I have another black handle Native with Gin-1 Stainless, and Golden Colorada USA Earth on the blade. Its 30/70 sersted and has 6 deep notch's on the back of the blade. Whats up with this?

Zytel and G-10 Natives (the Blue or inlay models) are made in the U.S. They first were made of Gin-1 and they are now CPM 440V. The stainless steel Natives are from Japan. Spyderco makes models at several different locations, most are Japanese made, some are US made. The Herbst was made in Germany, the original Michael Walker was made by Klotzli in Switzerland.
