What does everyone think of this knife? I can get it new, retail for $125 CAD. Is $125 CAD a good deal? Can someone take and post some high res pics of the Native S30V?

Thx all

Great knife! I absolutely love mine. It's in my EDC rotation. The handle really feels great in the hand, especially when you use the choil. The FRN pattern is much classier than the one on the Delica, and the FRN is beefier than the Delica too. It just has a great feel in the hand. S30V is a great steel and it's really easy to get a hair popping edge on. (In fact Spyderco's come straight out of the box with great edges already, sharper than I can make them myself.)
The knife is really smooth. Alot smoother than my Delica or my Dad's old Endura was. Truly a great knife.

I have no idea how much $125 Canadian is. I paid $52 U.S. at NewGraham.

Yes my 100th post!!!:D

$55 inc. shipping must be US dollars, not Canadian.
$125 (CAN$) must be the list price.
In the stores around here, I've seen the S30V Native in the low $80's (CAN$).
I have the 440V Native; great knife.

Just received mine in the mail today, love at first sight. The whole knife seems to weigh less than the blade alone should. Fits my hand perfectly, easy job switching the clip over for left-handed use, grip has traction to spare, and the lock-up is rock solid. It's also, in my opinion, the most "sheeple friendly" Spydie out there. This may not be a consideration for you, but I work in a place that is sooo politically correct that they are offering us a course in "how to laugh at nothing", because laughter is good but jokes can hurt peoples feelings.

Edited to add:
Just took some pics of it, you can see them here:

yes, thats $55 USD shipped to a friend in niagara falls, ny. I liked the military, but I wanted a blade that sheeple wouldn't liken to pulling out a gun! I should be receiving it on Tuesday I'll write an initial review of it :)

btw: thanks for the pics =) Have any holding / size comparisons?

I just received an S30V Native and recurve S Meercat that I got off of eBay for $66 shipped. Of the Native, I haven't used it other than to add a few more bald spots to my arms. :) Out of the box it is SHARP!!

I think we're dealing with the same guy :D

Is he an aol'er?

Was the native blade serrated or plain? judging from your post I'd have to guess plain

I'm hoping for a serrated / semi-serrated blade
