Spyderco Native vs. Fallkniven U2

I checked out a S30V Native today in a store and quickly compared it to my Fallkniven U2. Since I am pretty new to all this I do not have any expertise here but I will give my impressions.
The Data:
The cutting edge of the Native is 2 5/8" as per the Spyderco site. The U2 is 2 3/8" as per my measurments.
The length of the Native closed is 3.938". The U2 is 3.386".
The Native weighs 2.65 oz, the U2 is 1.5 oz.
The Native is S30V. The U2 is a Super Gold Powdered Steel laminate.
Both are plastic handles.
The Native is 3mm thick. The U2 2.5mm.
The U2 is a drop point. I am not sure what the Native is.
I bought my U2 from aapkblades.com for $47.19. The Native is $44.88 on the same site and I guess about $40 at Walmart.
The Impressions:
The folded Native is longer, larger, and higher profile. The folded U2 is over 1/2" shorter with a cutting edge only 1/4" shorter. The U2 definitely sits more comfortably in my pocket and is less noticeable than the Native.
My grip on the U2 is 3 fingered. On the Native it can be 4 though I am not used to the blade choil. I can definitely get a stronger grip on the Native though the grip on the U2 feels fine for it's size.
The Native definitely has more visual charisma. The U2 is very utilitarian looking.
My guess is the hollow ground Native is sharper but the flat ground U2 is stronger (whatever that means). The U2 is plenty sharp.
The U2 would look a lot less threatening to non-knife people.
I liked the Native but did not get as big a hit off of it as a lot of people seem to.
I have no idea how they compare cutting, etc.
My choice would be the U2, if nothing else because it is a high quality, great little knife and is easier to carry. I do not think I would notice the 1/4" cutting edge difference. Hey, when I am in the back country I take a larger fixed blade where it counts.

Thanks for your comparison, I've been seriously thinking about getting a U2 and you may have just pushed me over the edge(pun intended).

I have Native; it is my EDC. I was thinking about Fallkniven U2 also. I would like to get some experience with Super Gold Powdered Steel.
I certainly prefer Native for convenience of carry clip, one hand opening, and 4-finger grip.

I would prefer the one hand opening also but it would also be less compact.
I do not miss the clip because the U2 sits well enough in my pocket.
I have not had the U2 long enough to form a well based opinion but so far I am thinking that the 3 finger grip is probably not much of an issue for me since with a blade that short I do not know that there would be that much leverage. I do not have much experience overall with this sized knife.

I have the U2 in my edc bag for work -- haven't used it yet, but based on the positives in this forum, I thought I couldn't go wrong. It is so light, hardly know it's there! Would like a pocket clip, but no big deal for this quality knife.

Easy reply!

They are the only 2 knives I carry every day. For the reasons give by LikeHike.

Really don't have to say anymore.
