One of the main complaints about the Nirvana is the wedgy and shallow saber grind. Another complaint has been issues with lockstick, although people seem to have had this problem less as time went on. I was thinking a Nirvana 2 with a satin FFG and maybe a steel lockbar insert would be awesome and address many of the issues people have with the knife. There is precedent for this, there have been quite a few knives in Spyderco's line that have had their grinds updated / changed to a FFG, whether it be an update to an existing model or a new model offered alongside the previous. I think a satin FFG would make this knife a much more attractive offering, and I think the the popularity of regrinds seem to reflect that. What do you guys think?

Yes please FFG! And a 3D machined titanium clip.

The thick blade on the Nirvana is what made me dislike it.

I don't think I'd be happy with 2 big ugly screws on the outside of the handle. Kind of goes against the simplicity of the design.

Yep I agree the model needs a rework. A FFG would improve cutting ability and balance.

A full flat ground Nirvana with a 3" blade would be a beautiful thing!

I agree completely. A thinner grind, maybe a granite pattern(bronzed for the hell of it), and a non stick lock will be good. If they could add in a hoback rolling detent it would be nice as the detent for the ones I have handled/owned changes over time. I believe Rassenti himself has made a second generation with a same size handle, longer blade, and a coke bottle type of body.
