Does anyone own one of these? what do you think about it? How hard is the VG 10 to sharpen?

VG-10 is supposed to be a very easy steel to sharpen. I can't comment on the knife, though.

I have an Ocelot and love it! It's a great, mid-sized, folding hunter. It's a Tim Wegner design, manufactured by Spyderco, so it's bound to be a winner. As far as VG-10, I find it extremely easy to sharpen, almost as easy as AUS-8, so I doubt you'll have any problems in that regard.

I've a couple of them. The only complaint I have is that it is a tad small, but still a great EDC. the VG-10 sharpens well and, even with my limited sharpening skills, I can get a hair-popping edge with ease.

It's a nice knife, I'll give you that. But the foot prints give you no tactical advantage whatsoever, unless you were planning to auction it off as a collector's item.

some of the younger members might know what this is a play off of. anyway, vg-10 is good, the design is good, all in all there arent a whole lot of downsides to it. a good, solid (if simple) knife design. a little heavy though, but I dont think they could have skeletinized the liners due to the design.

oh ps I have actually handled one despite my general disinterest in spydercos. the person who I sold all of benchmades too has a lot of spydercos (and now a lot of benchmades D: ) and hes been trying to convince me to buy one. If he would part with his ocelot, I may do it, since I am a big time dog person.
