Alright what should I buy as my new edc folder out of these 2. Spyderco Captain or Kershaw Offset.

Or Just save my money and buy a Strider RCC GGT

Those are all completely bizarre and unconventional in almost all regular EDC scenarios. Very odd, overpriced picks. Are you sure you don't just want something rad looking in your pocket?

he's looking for a folding WSK, IIRC, the choices seem pretty close as far as what's available now.

Have you looked at the CRKT Pharaoh?

I see. Him referring to the choices as EDCs really threw me off.

Well, the Captain was actually made with outdoor tasks in mind, so that may be the one. The Offset is huge and heavy.

Go the with the Captain. It's a compact work horse! and It feels great in the hand!

Hey, I know the technology and manufacturing cost going into the Offset is expensive, and I'm sure it priced accordingly. I'm just saying. You're paying for a lot of innovation when you just want an EDC. I didn't realize he had a specific application, and wasn't just wanting something expensive and flashy. No disrespect intended towards the product. In fact when the G-10 version lands, I'll be hard pressed not to grab one. Love the design and features, hate the 80s paint splatter. ;)

i am new here, but i will through a vote to Kershaw. i bought an ET and had some trouble with it, the replacement was the same story. i asked to change designs and asked for a Speedbump. the MSRP is the same. they sent me the Spec version that is double that price! great customer service and it is a great little folder. quality steel and materials. almost makes up for the fact that my small grinder/buffer went Tango Uniform today. don't ever, ever buy cheap tools. it just takes the fun outta life.
