The factory ones are free with every knife! Can't get more affordable than that.
However if you must upgrade, I’ve had great luck, customer service, and fair price point with Applied Weapons Tech. They do heavy duty aluminum anodization that rivals the feel of Protech and Microtech scales. Highly recommend.

Lynch Northwest titanium scales are very well done. Perfect fit and finish. They’re heavier than Rockscale designs or Applied Weapons Technology, so those may be a better option if weight is a concern, but I prefer the solid feel of the Lynch scales.

I have at least one set from all the mentioned companies above, except for Lynch. I can safely second each recommendation.

Of course. Lynch. Probably a cut above the rest. I view those as an investment in a beloved knife. They may objectively be the best fit and finish out there at least for the Delica I built.
