Spyderco Para 2 centering question (probably different question than others’)

Hi All. I’m new here so I’d appreciate understanding if the question has been raised before but I couldn’t find it. Here it is:

I’ve had some issues with centering my blade after swapping scales. After multiple tries the blade is perfectly centered now and there is no blade play, but:

I have noticed that after I deploy the blade and push either side of it, it becomes off center after folding. Then, after multiple close-open-close it comes back to the center (or almost the the center - sometimes or doesn’t).

Is this normal with PM2? I don’t have many knives but I have tried the same thing with my Civivi and there is no way to move the blade.

I’d appreciate any replies!

Try tightening the pivot screws and see if that changes anything. Also check all the body screws, makes sure they are tightened all the way down. Do not over tighten them.

Everything is as tight as can be - there is no blade play or any loose screw.

My situation is kind of described in this YT video:

Check about 10:25 - he’s doing exactly the same thing as I - just pushing the blade.

I wonder if this happens with all PM2 knives…
