Spyderco Para 2 for Benchmade 710D2 - Fair Trade?

Would it be a fair (for either party) if I asked to trade my Paramilitary 2 (NIB, camo G10, plain blade) for a Benchmade 710D2 in similar condition?

In my opinion...yes...i like to purchase my knives locally, and here the prices are very similar for the two...

Yes on the fair trade. Just be aware that a new 710 current sells for $148 on a large vendor site, whereas the Para 2 Camo can be had for $116. So there is a little disparity there, but if the guy receiving the Para 2 likes it better than the 710 he is giving up, then its all good.

Sounds pretty close to me. If your fine with it you can always throw the offer out there and see if someone will go for it. The PM2 is very desireable, so I'm sure someone will bite. You can always do some research and check the values that they go for on the exchange or popular dealer sites as well. Thats usually what I do.

Sounds fair but it also sounds like you are fishing for a trade outside of the exchange which is not allowed.

If you shop around you can find a 710 for around $130. Try just finding a Para 2. Let alone one that's not got a jacked up price on it.
